Demo Feed Update
Today we finally got the official word on the AStream feeds that seemed to indicate that Steorn might be demoing again soon:
While many folks around here tend to give crank a hard time, I appreciate her getting the little bits of news that she can in her position as forum rep. Her statements in the forum normally clarify vs. confuse.crank: Sad news about the cameras ;-( I asked Sean why they were still working, turns out Steorn booked only the ten days that the demo was supposed to last. So A-Stream have just forgotten to turn off the stream.

Hi,
As long as the feeds seem to attract viewers, it just nice advertising space for A-Stream...
Seems like "real bad times" for Steorn that has OU and the secret to free energy for the planet... :p
I hope they have a little more success in their next "three years" of trying to make a plastic wheel spin... Seems like OU is a real "lossy" business :D
Steorn should toss another fake morsel out to the troops though... Just any off the wall "BS" comment will do... Something like "Our Orbo driven truck is in the shop do to a broken rear axle..." That would feed their little imaginations for a week or two... Maybe take the forum server off line for a day :o) That would create more false excitement than we have seen in a month now... A "for lease" sign out front is simple, cheap, and good for laughs too!!! "i" have done that one >:o))))
Let's check the Steorn forum...

Yawn... Like a spider, we will wait for the prey to wonder out again ;-) But I think we took a big bite out of them in early July... It will be a super riot when they are brave enough to try again !:D
I am surprised that there are allegedly 20 fools that still waist their time and small talents to work their. I have walked away from far greater opportunistic stupidities! At 180 man hours/business day, they should be able to produce "something" after a year or two...
A little talk about how they "are" OU but only like 0.1% or something... Or they can't scale it up :D
"0", multiplied by a billion trillion, is still "zero"!
Maybe they could get a big construction crane and just "lift" an orbo with it... Then they could just babble about "why" they did it and what it was supposed to "show" for the next three months...
Gosh!! This whole thing is getting real pathetic!!! :D

uh... they bit themselves, no?
The sad thing is when this all folds, Steorn is going to blame it on non-believers and that it does work, but no one was willing to listen to them. Sean already alluded to that path in a previous interview...
As I noted at Fizzx.com, posting about Steorn is pretty moot at this point. Their forum has fizz"x"led out as vardan1899 noted. Most posts are off topic and unless Steorn/Sean returns to posting, which isn't all that likely, and posts something substantial, which is as likely as the moon falling into the ocean tomorrow, the readership will continue to dwindle.
@Adam
The sad thing is when this all folds, Steorn is going to blame it on non-believers and that it does work, but no one was willing to listen to them. Sean already alluded to that path in a previous interview...
Care to tell us what interview this was from, and maybe provide a link? How about some evidence?
>Steorn is going to blame it on non-believers and that it does work, but no one was willing to listen to them.
But, but...the jury.
Vardan1899 said...
20 people work at Steorn...
My question is what the hell are they doing?
Steorn said the technology was developed, at least to the point that it could be licensed. Licensing is all Steorn said it wanted, they aren’t going to develop product. Sean said almost a year ago that the jury was just a formality, since the tech was real and several universities had already it.
SO!...what are all those people doing all day long. Sean said they aren’t working on anything but the OU project. He has also indicated that everything is done…so what the hell.
We've seen the "hobbit hat" video, a video of flagpole sitta has got to be next: http://www.vimeo.com/173714
They're wanna'be doofus hipsters. Haha
Why did Steorn have this "failed" demonstration at Kinetica ?
In most scams the scammers try to put some stress on their "customers". My guess is that Steorn told som potential investors the following : "You have to buy the shares before the demonstration, because after the demonstration the share value will increase".
What I am trying to say is that I think Steorn have received some more money from investors. Why else would they make worthless demonstration ?
"What I am trying to say is that I think Steorn have received some more money from investors."
Possible but unlikely. It would add to the chances of fraud charges and I doubt that many would fall for it.
"Why else would they make worthless demonstration ? "
You're assuming that there is some logic, competence, or reason behind what Steorn/Sean do. So far, we've seen no evidence to suggest that and considerable evidence to suggest that they are simply incompetent and/or crooks.
Everything that Steorn has done is mocking you the follower of their actions.
Made the 'claim' in an investment magazine.
Are making a film and having someone write a book.
Invited people from the forum to a party.
Had a song recorded.
Made the 550bhp claim then after months let it be known that this was not true and took the "misconception" tag from a forumer.
They claimed they would produce flash films showing the entirety of the test process, but never finished it.
They Banned anyone who showed too much dissent on the forum.
They failed to demo at Kinetica, they claimed they brought 3 working machines, but the bearings failed. All 3 of them.
They produce a nodding Ass an let it be believed it is powered by their tech and eventually let it be known it is not powered by their tech.
They as a company have never made a profit.
They as a company still attract more investment than some companies with sound products and good business accumen. Such as the original ORBO (a data protection method). This product is now licenced and sold by a canadian company.
Thay are not trustworthy, they are known to be liars and they are taking millions in investment.
It looks like they have taken investment since they said they would'nt.
Their current public voice seems to belong entirely to 2 'volunteers' who have ultimate power over what can be heard on steorns public forum.
The 'Jury' have reportedly never seen a working device nor plans to make one themselves. They have as yet seen only steorn's own data.
They have made claims of 480% OU but cannot demonstrate it.
They are full of shite, they have nothing but maybe some figures they themselves cannot add up.
That is all.
Feel free to add to the list of what Steorn have and have not done.
My reply to your vile accusations:
"Everything that Steorn has done is mocking you the follower of their actions."
We mock what we do not understand.
"Made the 'claim' in an investment magazine."
So? Why not?
A"re making a film and having someone write a book."
Yes, the greatest discovery in the history of mankind should be recorded! Good for them!
"Invited people from the forum to a party."
Oh the wretched bastards!
"Had a song recorded."
Good fun.
"Made the 550bhp claim then after months let it be known that this was not true and took the "misconception" tag from a forumer."
In other words "oh sh*t we're going to have M.I.B. issues, tone it down! Good plan I say.
"They claimed they would produce flash films showing the entirety of the test process, but never finished it."
The bastards are too busy saving the world to produce flash films, how inconsiderate of them!
"They Banned anyone who showed too much dissent on the forum."
The kicked some trolls to the curb, good job.
"They failed to demo at Kinetica, they claimed they brought 3 working machines, but the bearings failed. All 3 of them."
The demo was a success for several hours, but the lights trashed the bearings when the demo was moved. The demo was a resounding success. Mass media didn't see it running, big whup.
"They produce a nodding Ass an let it be believed it is powered by their tech and eventually let it be known it is not powered by their tech."
It is and all of us in the SPDC know this. I even played with it. ha.
"They as a company have never made a profit."
IP is good enough for me :)
"They as a company still attract more investment than some companies with sound products and good business accumen. Such as the original ORBO (a data protection method). This product is now licenced and sold by a canadian company."
So they are successful, you want a cookie?
"Thay are not trustworthy, they are known to be liars and they are taking millions in investment."
Sorry you are not in the loop, crying about it won't change that. You'll have to wait for validation like everyone else, boo hoo
"It looks like they have taken investment since they said they would'nt."
It looks like? Wow, hard core investigating there.
"Their current public voice seems to belong entirely to 2 'volunteers' who have ultimate power over what can be heard on steorns public forum."
Paranoia, wow.
"The 'Jury' have reportedly never seen a working device nor plans to make one themselves. They have as yet seen only steorn's own data."
Source? oh, anonymous forum post with Sean taken out of context. riiiight.
"They have made claims of 480% OU but cannot demonstrate it."
Like I said, you are not in the loop.
"They are full of shite, they have nothing but maybe some figures they themselves cannot add up."
out
of
the
loop
"That is all."
Didn't seem like much to me
"Feel free to add to the list of what Steorn have and have not done."
No thanks. Steorn deserve respect. Your attack is a disgusting outrage. I'm sitting here with an orbo spinning on my desk and you pull this crap. Steorn rocks.
Demo II. Start Date:
August 8 ???
August 8 + 10 days = August 18
August 18: The Economist Ad Anniversary
Steorn paid for my vacation in London!
But otherwise I think that pretty well sums it up.
Patience, persistence, truth,
Dr. mike
Mark Goldes is making a spamming nuisance of himself with his claims for imminent free energy machines (it's been imminent for 20+ years that investors have been wasting money on his scams).
Now that Steorn is essential "agonal" and moribund perhaps Steorntracker would consider MPI as a new target (along with a few other prominent scams like SuperVision Entertainment's Supermag).
I am not suggesting following all the harmless nuts and cranks with the SMOT's, Bedini, Bearden, Naudin and similar silliness. I am suggesting getting after the scumbags that spoil people's reputation, confuse investors, and deliberately rip off people's money.
I'll be happy to provide links to these ratbags if someone wants them.
"The demo was a resounding success."
"In other words "oh sh*t we're going to have M.I.B. issues, tone it down! Good plan I say."
You are deluded.

"No thanks. Steorn deserve respect. Your attack is a disgusting outrage. I'm sitting here with an orbo spinning on my desk and you pull this crap. Steorn rocks."
Cool.
Hey, I want one too!
"No thanks. Steorn deserve respect. Your attack is a disgusting outrage. I'm sitting here with an orbo spinning on my desk and you pull this crap. Steorn rocks."
LOL! Another Nodding Dumb Ass, now I know where Sean came up with the idea. All (most of them anyway) the spuds sitting around nodding their heads as Sean spews his BS.
Apparently Schizophrenia is contagious too.
What's even funnier is that I know exactly who you are and it's not the first time you've claimed this.
Why don't you video it? Don't hide behind your NDA, you can share it with drmike who is under NDA and we can take his word for it. Better yet you can share it with the other spuds and they'll stop laughing at you... Not! The lights will fry the bearings, right?
Steorn looks like a fantastic scammer’s setup. Think about it…
According to public filings, it looks like Steorn, as a company wasn’t really doing all that well in, in fact they were losing money. My guess is that they came up with the OU idea to generate the $14 million in investment seed money.
They made the claim or let it leak to certain deep pockets, which they allowed to buy stock in Steorn, not the OU device. Let me say that again, the investors invested in Steorn, not Orbo, that technicality matters. Steorn didn’t sell stock in “Orbo”; it sold its own stock. As it stands now Steorn is flush with cash, something they weren’t before a few years ago. From the looks of their financials, I doubt they could have gone on much longer. Their CEO certainly couldn’t have been pulling down much money. After a new wave of investors bought the stock, Steorn was flush with cash and could continue to make payroll, and provide benefits to all its employees.
The investors are probably what we in the United States call “accredited investors”. In the US and many other countries regulators, allow privately traded companies a way to streamline stock underwriting and sell stock if the stock is sold only to “accredited investors”, not the general public. By definition, an “accredited investor” is a person who has “deep pockets or big income” and there are dollar guidelines for both. The regulators allow this kind of a sale because “accredited investors” unlike the average investor has the resources to do their own due diligence. This streamlines the process for the company and shifts more responsibility to the investor. It is hard for an “accredited investor” to win a lawsuit.
Steorn was failing. Its owner came up with a way to keep it going by raising operating capitol. It worked and is working. The accredited investors will never see their money again.
>I even played with it. ha.
Well, put i back in your pants when you are done with it.
Wow-- I can see in the messages above that the loonies are out in force. If someone has a working Orbo, please do Steorn a favor-- bend, don't break your NDA a bit, video a piece of it moving and post it. You can't? But you have one? Yah shoore.
Here is a neat piece from "Meta" over on Steorn's forum that I think hits the nail exactly on the head and needs to be "immortalized" here:
"Why conduct this drama in the first place? Why not come out with your ducks in a row, a muscular demonstration device, the "jury" already over, calorimetry in your pocket, paper written... guns locked and loaded. Max impact. Shock and awe.
No, Steorn jumped off the cliff and are building their wings on the way down. "
Well said, "Meta"!
Some more true if perhaps fragile gems from the Steorn forum:
"Author: Knuckles O'Toole
Has anyone noticed that the people who defend Steorn are whack jobs? "
--------------------
more by O'Toole:
"You will find that there is a place in this world called the lunatic fringe. In this place are many strange creatures. The laws of physics do not operate there and the people who inhabit it drink the manna from the well of impossibility. "
Indeed... People are not accustomed to recognizing mental aberrations unless they are extreme... and too many lunatics are investors with more money than sense. Ah well...
Hey, I am not that fragile!
@ Anonymous
"I'm sitting here with an orbo spinning on my desk..."
That is a direct bold face lie! You know it, and so does everyone else...
Let's do a Gedankenexperiment to indicate the validity of Stoern's claims...
Imagine your Steorn and your orbo is a totally working success. What would "you" do?
Spend a few moments writing your response down...
Now, suppose that your Steorn and your orbo is a totally fraudulent scam. What would "you" do?
Spend a few moments writing your response down...
Now compare your two lists and find which one matches Steorn's real world activities... QED...
Even someone with no scientific training or even real education should get very good results.
Of course, there may be a few people that are mentally unsound and unable to separate reality from imagination and delusion ("whack jobs"). The above experiment will not work reliably for them so their results must be discounted.

There is a hilarious video here. And the comments are even funnier. Look at the one by "sterlingda" (Sterling Allan). This perpetual motion demonstration is way better done and a whole lot funnier than anything Steorn has provided, except maybe the donkey. No, not even the donkey!
Oh this is too too funny. More wonderful crafty hand made gadgets from artist Scott Hall and Sterling Allan thinks these are free energy demos "any child can build". I almost spilled coffee on my keyboard.
Main link here.
Best part? Sterling characterizes Scott as a "free energy savant". Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... my tummy hurts from laughing too hard.
Schi,etti's magnetic wind power station
http://smart.tin.it/domsky/centrale-vento-magnetico.JPG
[In the drawing you can see a magnetic wind power station obtained from an ordinary wind turbine modified to work uninterruptedly all day long by means of permanent magnets. At the end of the blades you need to place neodymium magnets with opposite polarity (or attracting according to the direction of rotation, the functioning is the same). The size of magnets must be experimentally calculated until the breaking of inertia]
The easiest way is the self-construction of a magnetic wind power station. Since it doesn’t require force of gravity, fuels, particular weather conditions or external interventions, the magnetic wind power station is perfect for space ships too.
You need to buy an ordinary small wind turbine and change it a little bit. You need to replace the blades with ordinary bars of aluminium, wood or any other light material, resistant and which doesn’t not resist to air.
At the end of the blades you need to place some magnets. Around the flaps, on the outside, you need to place a wheel of magnets of opposite polarity. Neodymium is a good magnet.
By increasing the circle diameter you’ll inevitably reach the inertia break point, thus the magnets, whatever their power, will manage to move the blades, maybe of just a bunch of millimetres.
The station produces power 24 hours per day and it pays back in about 6 months.
This link has a very good video showing some details, included that about oblique magnets which repel and generate a movement which is useful only when the threshold of inertia is crossed:
Free Energy Using Magnets
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YvHb41KP7To&mode=related&search=
Permanent magnets usually are heavy metals and need screening to avoid radiations.
We do not suggest engines with low radioactivity big-size permanent magnets until in depth studies are carried put about their possible side effects.
Schi, etti's Serpentine: free water and energy for everyone by the year 2010, as promised!
Schi,etti's ...
We've got ourselves an Italian Gaby!
@anonymous
That's just nonsense. Wind turbines work better without dragging useless magnets around. And where in blazes did you get the dumb idea that magnets are radioactive?
As for the video, I'm sorry I wasted the time-- it's an obvious phony.
What I don't get is why so many people believe this sort of crappolaa. Maybe anonymous can tell us?
And I thought is was joke in German....
Sometimes self parody is the best for a real hard laugh!
Apparently there is important activity at Steorn headquarters. Is it a new demo schedule? No. Is it an explanation of the smelly failure at Kinetica? No. Is it the results of the jury process? No. Is it a new explanation of how to make an "orbo"? No. Is it a statement from one of those many universities that agreed with Steorn but would not go on record? No. Is it something that demonstrates free energy? OF COURSE NO!
It's better and more important. It's a matter of monumental importance besides which all the empty claims, meaningless promises, pompous statements from Sean, and taking money from investors all pales. Oh my God! Someone is infringing on the Steorn company's good name!!!!!!!
And rest assured, Steorn is leaving no stone unturned to see that this dastardly deed does not go unpunished.
See for yourself:
"Hi,
Sorry, but due to a legal request from Steorn we need to change the
name of this google group. Any name recommendations? "
HERE!!!!!!!!
Wonders from Steorn never cease.
Interesting. You would think that based on Steorn's past behavior that publicity seeking and getting the name out there meant a lot to them. Now, it seems they are becoming turtles.
I do not think there is anything illegal about a discussion group using the company's name if that is the sole purpose of the group anymore than if you had a web site on discussing Microsoft or General Motors.
And you would think that encouragin such groups would be in Steorn's best interest to extend the viral marketing and achieving brand recognition.
Instead they wish to pull in there identity.
By doing this they eliminate these sites from coming up in search engines unless you know the exact names of them.
Anonymous is exactly correct. Steorn doesn't want websites that talk about their fraud and scam to come up on search engines.
They only want their sanitized and censored crap to be readily available.
""Sorry, but due to a legal request from Steorn we need to change the
name of this google group. Any name recommendations? ""
Ah!!! I have been wondering what they have been cooking up with their last 400 man hours...
Excellent!!!!
We may be vastly underestimating how really "dead" Steorn is... I have worked for a few companies in the "evaporation phase", it's quick and sudden. Gone without a trace... Time to put Steorn on the death watch...
It would be funny to bring a full court challenge to meet their legal request to see if they can afford or "if" an attorney will work for them :o)) I wonder if the request comes from a legal representative or if it is "just a letter" they manage to copy on past off the net...
Vardan1899
It just means that the marketing department of Steorn is still operating. They probably act completely independent from the technology and are still working in accordance with their original orders. They are still protecting their trade-marks, which could be the only value the company represents.
Almost like an insect where the back-legs don't know yet the body has been decapitated.
>They probably act completely independent from the technology and are still working in accordance with their original orders
Their original marketing ploy was to create a viral buzz about Steorn and all that it entails. Now it seems the same marketing group is trying quell the buzz THEY created. Seems a bit counterproductive is you ask me.
Be careful of what you wish for Steorn.
It gets better. Now you have to log in just to read the Steorn forum.
