FreeEnergyTruth Interview with Sean McCarthy

Craig at FreeEnergyTruth has posted his interview with Sean McCarthy, the CEO of Steorn. As expected, the interview was light. There were no questions about Thieu Knapen, founder of Kinetron, the only mention of a possible demo was that it would be held in Dublin, and of course no hint at a Jury update.

Sorry folks!

I think it was pretty good. It tells me that Steorn have a real OU device, not just some laboratory curiosity.

From the FET interview;

The liar Sean - "We have contracted a local engineering company to conduct water surveys and to design a one-fits-all water pump"

Some time ago when pressed on the Steorn Forum, Sean claimed that the pumps were already in place in Africa with conventional power, but would be converted to Orbo power later. This guy sucks so badly at Bullshitting that he cant even remember his own lies.

Just the latest round of complete BS.

Yawn. Interview was boring drivel and Sean's usual elliptical bullshit. The only thing I found interesting was the cultlike adoration of the few remaining true believers on the Steorn forums.

Anonymous said...

well, at least one of the cult of believers is replicating himself with multiple avatars on the Steorn forum to "swell the ranks".

sad. just sad.

maryyugo said...

There are a lot of simple questions "007" could have asked that are so obvious that even a staunchly religious believer would know them:

1. WHEN is the next demo? (who gives a flux where?)

2. WHAT has the jury been given to examine, have any rendered a decision, when are they expected to?

3) Look us in the eye and tell us whether or not the concept you believe to be the basis for "Orbo" has EVER been reduced to practice in the form of a working machine? If so, how long did the working model run? What stopped it? Could it be restarted?

4) Why was Dr. Mike not taken to Dublin and showed a working Orbo and allowed to "take a screwdriver to it" as promised?

5) Why is a jury necessary to test claims that any good graduate physics student can test in less than week?

6) Speaking of testing, why not let Scott Little and Harold Puthoff's company test Orbo?

Questions like those, by the way, got me banned from the forum.

Well, I can answer the one about when the demo will be. NEVER. Sean is full of words-- and those words are obviously nothing but evasive shit. Nothing else. And 007 is a dunce and a drip for asking nothing of value and no followup questions.

Knuckles O'Toole said...

Well considering Sean gave his crew three days to produce a failed demo (after 3 years+ of R&D) and we are seeing how much time it is taking to produce a working one for the next demo I think it is safe to say that none exists. It cannot be an NDA issue because Steorn is apparently willing (in word at least) to demo the thing at all.

If I was CEO of a company that blundered this badly on displaying the one thing that would give credence to my claim I would immediately reschedule another demo as soon as possible. Can this interval really be considered ASAP?

Sean is not talking on the forum because there is nothing to say anymore. Now that he has talked a la this interview it proves he has nothing to say. He is better of shutting up.

There is a saying in the US, "show me, I'm from Missouri." Well, I think a lot of people are from Missouri at this point.

By that logic, the longer they don't show it the truer it must be.

What , just like well known scam like MPI or Lee water energy ? some of the best scam are the longest.

Length of time proves nothing, on the contrary, it hints at them not having any good to show, and thus they try to distract people from the sad truth. It is only a show.

None of these questions was asked, but I think they were all answered, more or less.

1) Have you ever and at this very moment able to produce a functional device that produces the effect continually without input.

He answered that months ago. Yes.

2) Are the details on “the next demo” on the table and being worked on now, or is the demo on the back burner.

A demo will be held in Dublin, so they are at least thinking about it.

3) Explain your lack of participation on the forum you created.

That's obvious. He is sick of questions from insolent nitwits.

4) What’s the delay on the 2nd invitation to the SPDC, is there a reason that these people who have signed the nondisclosure should not gain access to the SPDC!!

They want to do the second demo first.

(And later recanted and admitted it was a lie.)

(More like he is sick of waffling and dancing around intelligent questions and trying to come up with more lies and idiotic excuses for the lies and other stupid shit he said yesterday.)

Sean has stated that the last 'Demo' Orbo was constructed in three days and that it did work but failed before the Kinetica doors opened. Now in all this time since the demo they still haven't managed to build a new working demo unit? Where is the start/stop unit he promised to show in the event the constant motion unit failed?

Can anyone give a reasonable explanation for this?

How does this jive with the "always proven to work" line that was posted so prominently on the Steorn website originally?

Always proven to work, but only if nobody is watching???

Where is Seans bravado now? Maybe he should apologize to HK, Thicket and Pennies? Or he could just cower in silence, as he seems to be doing now.

How about an interview with SteornTracker Sean?

Mother of Gaia said...

Not one single sycophant of Steorn's has shown the slightest ability to grasp physics or discuss with even a layman's understanding. It is quite understandable how these people are attracted to such gibberish but it is the fervor that they do so that is so comical. The defend Steorn, they apologize, they gloss over facts, their eyes glaze over at every utterance of Sean. Sean could piss all over them and they would beg for more.

Fortunately, I think there are only four of them. Now Steorn has sunk to providing interviews to one of these pathetic creatures in a mutual admiration display that can only mean one thing: the game is over.

After the demo fiasco the main stream media has timed out on this story. Unless Steorn provides bona fide proof of what they claim I think they have cried wolf one time too many.

@"anonymous" and his/her suggested questions:

1) Have you ever and at this very moment able to produce a functional device that produces the effect continually without input.

He answered that months ago. Yes.

He needs to answer it again because he has never been able to demonstrate, much less prove, that the statements he made are true.

2) Are the details on “the next demo” on the table and being worked on now, or is the demo on the back burner.

A demo will be held in Dublin, so they are at least thinking about it.

If Steorn has a continuous motion device that does not require power to run, why don't they show it "yesterday"? How hard is it to put something like that on a glass table in a vacant lot and let someone like Dr. Mike check it out? That's not a rhetorical question. I'll answer it. It's not hard at all. It requires little time and effort. So why don't they do it? Because obviously, the claim that they have a running Orbo which works without power input is a blatant, bald faced **LIE**. Get it? (No, I suppose you won't)

3) Explain your lack of participation on the forum you created.

That's obvious. He is sick of questions from insolent nitwits.

The poster child of an insolent nitwit is Sean because he never solicits or answers the OBVIOUS questions about his claims. He's always tangential, vague and deliberately misleading. Delusional doesn't begin to cover it. Those questions that you believe are "insolent" are mostly right on-- they are questions that responsible and intelligent people ask and that Sean, in the more than a year since this absurd nonsense has been going on, has never properly responded to. And I predict he never will.

4) What’s the delay on the 2nd invitation to the SPDC, is there a reason that these people who have signed the nondisclosure should not gain access to the SPDC!!

They want to do the second demo first.

Laughable. There never was a first demo, remember? THERE HAS NEVER BEEN **ANY** DEMO OF ANY STEORN OVERUNITY CLAIM WHATSOEVER. Who cares about the SPDC 1 or 2 or for that matter, the idiotic idea that a "jury" is necessary to test claims of overunity. That's all garbage. Overunity claims like Steorn's can be tested by any one of thousands of physicists and engineers in a very short time.

That this entire farce still continues in any form at all is a testimonial to how uneducated in science and common good sense so many people are. And based on your remarks, you are one prime example of this type of incomprehensible ignorance and/or stupidity.

PS: anyone else have trouble posting to this blog? I had to try three times to get it to accept "other" as a legitimate identity.

Sean said:
"Right now you can have a hard disk with huge capacity for fifty bucks but that’s not how they started out, they started out costing a hundred million dollars for a couple of hundred kb of disk space, this has taken 50 years. Orbo will be no different."

So there you have it ! Only 50 years to the next demo.

Too long you say???

Well, tsk tsk, there you go again. Hey, don't always be selling Sean so short, Sean has an answer for that too:

"I doubt it will be the same fifty year cycle with Orbo because development timeframes are always compressing."

OK, OK, I can already hear all you techno types now, you say "What the hell is Sean talking about when he says development timeframes are always compressing. Vista?? Iphone?? International Space Station???....Yeah right."

Well all you smarty pants, Sean is way too sharp for you , but not for me. I got it all figured out.
It's bloody obvious! Steorn is developing a time compressor!!!!!

I don't see how that could take very much more than 25 years, so once that is done, and if they can knock 40 years off Orbo's development time, we should be seeing the demo anytime now, in about only 35 more years I reckon.

So there. Jeez people, have a little faith will ya??

I wonder why so many SPDC members (like babcat, energyman8, 007, etc) are returning to the public forum after all this time?

SPDC members were specifically requested to NOT participate or interact with "those idiots" in the public forum many times by Steorn representatives in the past. I wonder what has changed ... and why?

Has Steorn lifted the moratorium on SPDC members participating in the public forum?

Are SPDC members getting so bored (or disgusted) there that the public forum actually seems more attractive? (scary thought that)

Or are they, in their boredom (or disgust), simply telling Steorn to feck off? I'll post ignorant nasty noise wherever I want because I know you will never ban a believer?

Of course, many other SPDC members simply quit the SPDC and did not return to the forum, so perhaps there is something in that...hmmm.

I find the Steorn claim interesting regardless of whether their device works or not. If it does work (which I increasingly doubt)... well, that's fascinating. If it doesn't, then what in the world are they up to? I've followed free energy claims for a number of years and enjoy watching the saga of each one unfold. Remember Tilley's Delorean demonstration? Gee, too bad the axle broke before anything could be proven. Remember the Lutec guys? They spent a small fortune patenting something that doesn't work. Steorn is easily the most complex and compelling of all the claims I've known. I'm interested in the claim for its own sake, sort of like a sociologist would be. When it's all said and done, Steorn will probably end up in the same category as the Lutec guys - people who were really, really convinced that they had something - only to find that it didn't hold up when they tried to get useful work out of it. Electromagnetism is an interesting and sometimes deceptive phenomenon. Steorn, I suspect, is in the middle of learning that lesson the hard way.

There is no real complexity to Steorn. They have taken a widely known hoax in the scientific world and brought it to the uninformed masses via the internet and milked it for all it's worth.

They caught unsuspecting investors who imagined investment returns beyond their wildest dreams. The investors wont back out now, they don't want the attention / loss of face. Also, they only ever had Sean's word so what's different now, you can imagine the lines he still feeds them.:)

Since the supposed FET interview was a complete shambles lets contact Matt Cooper from TodayFM to interview Steorn. He has given them loads off promotional air time in Ireland in the past and it is time that he set the record straight by asking Steorn some real questions.

Lets see how good Matt Cooper is at getting real answers. I suspect he wont have the audacity to confront and research the real truth but we shall see.

It looks like Ron Stiffler has OU nailed with his electricity from nowhere.

See http://www.youtube.com/user/MRH2O2

and click on the 'cold electricity' demos.

At present he is using a battery to power the circuit and is getting about 800 percent OU, but he is about to use the light from 56 LEDs, the output of his device, to replace the battery - the holy grail of OU: closing the loop!

It's hard to believe that two completely different approaches to OU such as Steorn's and Stiffler's can both work, but there it is.

Can anyone see the deep connection between Steorn's and Stiffler's efforts? There must be one.

maryyugo said...

"Can anyone see the deep connection between Steorn's and Stiffler's efforts? There must be one."

There is -- what I'm not sure about is whether they are both deluded, or crooks, or just bad scientists who can't make proper measurements.

And a clue for you: until the loop is closed without batteries being involved, it's not OU.

Uhh, what? 2012!!? Are you kidding me? Where did you get that date? Last we heard, there was some sort of strange jury thing that was assessing this alleged technology. Furthermore, that jury is supposed to finish it's work and release its findings in a matter of months; I think it was April 2008 that the findings are to be released, correct me if I'm wrong.

So where exactly did 2012 come from? And why, if Steorn has a working PPM/OU device (as they originally claimed at the start of all this), would there be any need to wait until 2012? Are you an adult or a child? You can't possibly believe what you've written, it makes no sense at all.

maryyugo said...

@JTerry

John was kidding. It's doubtful that there is a jury. If there is, they have not been shown anything. Anyway, no jury would be needed to prove Steorn's claimed high levels of overunity.

Only non scientists don't understand that such a claim can be tested *easily* in less than a day by a few capable engineers and physicists such as Scott Little and his company EarthTech International -- and all of those services were offered to Steorn and Little and Puthoff were present at Kinetica in July when it would have been easy for Steorn to show them whatever they claim to be hiding in Dublin. Same story with Dr. Mike.

Steorn is full of BS and nothing else. Bet on it.

“Uhh, what? 2012!!? Are you kidding me? Where did you get that date?”

2012 is the time of the “GREAT ALIGNMENT” silly. It is also the end of the Mayan calendar, or the end of the “Great Cycle”. According to the end, ancient Mayans this cycle will end and another will begin. For nut jobs this is the next red letter date for the end of the world as we know it. Of course, dozens of other “red letter” dates have past with no event so I suspect this one will pass with no significance as well…

The many varieties of nut-jobs believe different things about 2012. The UFO variety believes that aliens will come back to Earth, some believe to take over others believe that they will herald in a new age of peace. Some nuters think an artificial intelligence will arise (“Terminator” style) and take over. Others believe the world will go through some huge natural disaster will occur and civilization will end. Still others believe that the “ONE WORLD ORDER” will rise up and take over, or the antichrist will appear. In any case this nut-job seems to be alluding to some huge change in society.

SPDC2 has completed the stage2 steornpak. We are also now conversing directly with 4 jury members in the forums that are providing us ongoing support. Sean plans to release the stage3 steornpak mid November. This is the one we are excited about and will allow us to build a small kinetic partial OU toy. Stay with us folks progress is being made. We also have round 4 of SPDC to SPDC2 transfers coming up EOM so those stuck in SPDC1 keep working hard for the promotion to SPDC2 it CAN happen. Peace.

Please explain how something can be "partially" OU. It is OU, or it isn't.

"Please explain how something can be "partially" OU. It is OU, or it isn't."

Well in layman's terms it is not "unlocked OU" as we call it. Steorn has a way of encrypting the rotational magnetic resonance of Orbo. This means the object will fire up but is destined to slowly run out of energy. The genius behind this is that Steorn will be able to sell Orbo with varying degrees of OU. Big bucks for the fully decrypted Orbo400 (400% efficiency), lower income parties will go with for example an Orbo05 or Orbo10. Middle class folks will likely be able to afford an Orbo25. Incredible stuff, I've said too much already, reveal my ip address and I will be screwed. I really should not drink and come here!!

Poorly worded. It refers to a one-time OU transaction, like the device Knapen ran.

If the experimenters are clever enough, they can probably rework it into a continuous model.

Of that one is rich, rich! Unlocked OU? Varrying degrees of "efficiency"? Whatever happened to Steorn and Sean's altruistic ideals: providing the technology to Africans for free, giving to the low income, etc? So now everyone will have to pay for it eh? Not only that, their bucks buy them a graduated version depending upon how much they pay; so essentially, poor people get the crummy version that is "partially" or not fully "unlocked" OU. Guess that means they will have to pay again to "unlock" the thing. So it seems all the same economics at play in the hated oil/energy industries continue under the Steorn model.

Come on, Steorn is a total farce. And how can you be in SPDC2 when the last I heard on the forums and elsewhere there was a long waiting list of people wanting entry but the thing had not even been created? And what about your discussions with the "jury" members? Have these jurors acknowledged receiving from Steorn a Steorn manufactured device that, as alleged by Steorn, creates more energy than it consumes? I'm not talking about plans or theories, I'm asking about an actual device that Steorn alleged they had way back when this side-show started?

Probably I'm being had again just like the John Titor thing and you'll all chime in for a good laugh; forgive my lack of internet lore if that's the case.

I know it sounds hard to believe but Orbo was unencrypted initially until Sean met himself from the future 3 months ago. Sean's future self told him of a world where unencrypted Orbos were used as violent weapons. From what I gather a magnetic wave bomb produced when large Orbos were forced into some sort of feedback loop. Sean's future self spoke of several countries having been destroyed with the bombs. Sean's future self handed him this encryption technology in hopes of undoing something horrible, I suspect the destruction of his homeland, family, etc. And that's that really..

meta said...

"The genius behind this is that Steorn will be able to sell Orbo with varying degrees of OU."

Yeah.....right.

LOL! Talk about putting the cart before the horse.

The comedy of all this is that Steorn has been incapable of demonstrating ANY degree of OU. The only demonstration to date was far from "genius".

Looks to me like another wing is being built on Steorn's Castle in the air.

One crackpot's story, while likely entirely fictious, is just as credible as any story from Steorn regarding its device; that is, also fictious. And so, it could very well be spdc nonesense encouraged and distilled through the Steorn believer machine, although entirely made-up out of pure Sean/Steorn fantasy. This would seem perfectly consistent with the Steorn pattern. Besides, you talk as if you're someone who has proof that this is, in your words, "disinformation" and not Steorn policy.

I'm not doubting you actually, but why not share your evidence that it is so and put the matter to rest? You seem so firmly convinced after all. Or are you just making an assumption like nearly everyone else here does most of the time, in which case you have no idea either way?

"I know it sounds hard to believe but Orbo was unencrypted initially until Sean met himself from the future 3 months ago. Sean's future self told him of a world where unencrypted Orbos were used as violent weapons."

@ Anonymous:

Yes, please squeeze the lemon harder; and when you're done puckering up, why not speak to the point? You have the sense about you of a firm believer in Steorn techno-flummery. Congratulations.

I kind of feel bad now about stealing that Steorn stationery and then sending Sean faxes from "future Sean".
