News?

Steorn appeared in Dublin's Sunday Tribune a few days ago:
http://www.tribune.ie/article/2008/aug/10/free-energy-firm-generated-8m-in-funding/

The gist of the article is that we shouldn't expect to see or hear anything out of Steorn until their full commercial launch, which should come before next summer.

"it had accumulated losses of €5.9m by that year, but continued to pay out hundreds of thousands of euro in remuneration to its two directors."

BWAAAAA HAAAAA HAAAAA!!!! OH LORD.

Steorn really should pick the summer of 2010 for their commercial launch not the summer of 2009.

That would give them another year of doing nothing and give them a little more time to burn through all the investor's money before they fail to deliver.

Although many companies have had long running projects which never saw the light of day, Steorn may have finally discovered the secret of Perpetual Development.

Nah, I wouldn't worry about summer 2009, that is only another phase of perpetual validation.

Validation.

Spin the machine up, ensure it is not getting power from any source, ensure it can run non-stop on it's own, ensure it can power a bank of lightbulbs. Leave it running, check weekly. After 2 weeks and it's still running and powering the lightbulbs. Validated.

Someone please pass this on to Steorn.

Steorn hype is so 2007... Yawn

::::::::

ORBO is not capable running continuosly for 2 weeks. ORBO is capable doing half round, after that must relax, after that it must getting impuls, after that is capable doing another half round (with no-constant angle speed). After few thousands cycles magnets are 2,6% more "gaussed" and ORBO after that not works.
This is reason for very bizzare validation only with ultra-high-end scientists.
This is reason for ORBO was never connected to generator (Sean's own words).

Meanwhile Intel just had a demo of their wireless power technology.

This is how it's done.

Anonymous said...

"*further* public demonstrations of the technology will now coincide with the commercial launch"

ya mean they already had some?

Here is another article for Steorn spotters.

"The firm has attracted multimillion-euro investment, mainly from private investors. Its shareholders include Steorn, another Dublin company whose projects have included work on battery technology. Sean McCarthy, chief executive of Steorn, has previously said that Fraudhalt has ‘‘the best IP [intellectual property] to come out of this country’’..."

What battery technology was Steorn working on? Has anyone here ever met Sean McCarthy? Did he display any of the hallmarks of sociopathy? I'm genuinely curious. I'm very angry about what McCarthy has done - or, rather, hasn't done - since launching Steorn.

Sean is one of those people that has a solution for every problème du jour.

Whatever the latest news be sure that Sean is working on a solution.

Global warming .... fixed
Starvation in Africa .... fixed
Perpetual energy ..... fixed
Credit card scammers .... fixed

So please give Sean and Steorn a break.

I've met him. He's a really nice guy and can hold his liquor much better than I can. I think he's on the edge of sane - what ever we might mean by "sane". He believes things which are not true, but it doesn't really hurt him.

I've met my share of sociopaths, and they are not nice people. They are way more cunning than Sean McCarthy.

There are a lot of people in the world who I would describe as having "more money than brains". Sean has found a way to survive among them. It makes the world go round, I'm not sure it has to make any sense.

Patience, persistence, truth,
Dr. mike

Hello. I want to introduce a device capable of generating unlimited energy, cleaner and safer. It operates under the principle of Arquimedes push for flotation. Only with air and water, without consumption of either. A detailed description, along with drawings and an animation may see in:
http://motiveandpneumaticenergyproducer.blogspot.com/

I am open to the general public, so that it can be used and modified freely, since it declared unpatentable. Therefore, I need a good spread of it to prevent anyone from taking him on an exclusive basis.
Thank you very much and I hope her comments,

Froilan Salaya

The object falls and some of its potential energy is captured by the generator, there is an elegant transfer of the object into the column of water which relies on the kinetic energy of the falling object to get it below the surface of the water. The object now floats up to its original height recovering its original potential energy.

The energy to return the object to its original height comes from the potential energy of the volume of water displaced from the top of the column by the object. To reset the system to its original state we have to raise this volume of water back to the top of the column. Very pretty but not OU.

This is a question for DrMike.

What's the difference between Tania Head & Sean?

Anonymous said...

Sean hasn't committed suicide.

Belief is a really powerful thing. It is so powerful, that entire civilizations have been wiped out because they refused to change their beliefs even when the obviousness of reality confronted them.

The fundamental difference is that Sean really believes. I don't think Head really did, otherwise she wouldn't have committed suicide.

so what's new at the Steorn forums these days anyway? anything?

The addicts (around 10 I think) are still posting there, but most folks have moved on. I no longer bother checking the steorn website, but occasionally look at this blog to see if anything is cooking.

I cleaned off my desk at work today and found one of the flyers Steorn passed out at the Kinetica demo.
----------------
ORBO

Steorn unveils the worlds first free energy technology at Kinetica Museum

5 - 13 July 2007
-------------------

And we haven't heard a thing since. I'm definitely going to save this flyer, and mail the t-shirts I picked up for the person who sent me the Dr. mike shirts I wore at the demo.

I think it's time to call a dead horse rotted. Even Foster's remains have been ID'd.

But yet bizzarely you still keep rambling on about them Mike. I'd say you're worried.

he sounds worried? sounds more like the pitter-patter of the proverbial piss on the grave.

Did you notice that the Steorn forum is open to the public again? And what a shameful specter it is. It's the closest the internet has come to producing online insane asylum.

"It's the closest the internet has come to producing online insane asylum"

I think Overunity.com has that distinction. Magnetism may not create energy but it sure does attract nutters. Unfortunately, they have no polarity as they cannot tell their ass from their elbows.

drmike, can you post a scan/photo of that flyer? there are supposedly a lot of people who would like to see it. It may also be a good addition to the wikipedia article about Stoern...

OK, Done! Not exactly great because I used a camera, but at least it is mostly readable and you can see the fancy colors very well. It is uploaded to
http://www.eskimo.com/~eresrch/Steorn/
and there are 4 pictures at the bottom of the page.

great website. no updates in, what, three months?

"great website. no updates in, what, three months?"

Still a damn sight better than the joke called Steorn. No updates in, what, 16 months and piss all for content before that!

BTW Crastney has some views here;

I really can't believe McCarthy is still running this game. So what's the deal? Steorn just lets people call them up for complimentary PR tours and then they go to a pub and knock back a few beers?

The camera they have outside the building is there so they can get a jump on law enforcement.

Jury was to report 15/12/08. Ask Sean tonight if it has, and result.
