Nodding Donkey at the Office
Today we learn about a supposed SPDC video involving a Nodding Donkey from almost and zpe:
almost: I would like McCarthy to explain why, in view of the horrible letdown of people who travelled thousands of miles to see an Orbo demonstration, he hasn't posted a video of the machine. He can at least post it privately to his loyal supporters in the SPUD - supporters who vociferously castigated a member who queried whether the Nodding Donkey prototype had Orbo inside, and were made to look foolish by their trust when after a considerable delay Shaun revealed that it didn't. Another 550bhp example, albeit not so egregious since the delay in Shaun's confession was less than the 6 weeks of the big engine.
Later, zpe provided us with this photo, which seems to have disappeared from Steorn's forum. He also has the video, which hopefully will become public soon.
Also today, crank visited Steorn:
It seems like our anonymous trouble maker has hit a nerve with some folks over in Steorn's forum. Lately I've been modding these types of posts. If you're going to post "facts" here, please have something to back them up with.Given the claims on Steorntracker, which were repeated in this forum, I went into Steorn this morning. I knew it wasn't true, but equally knew there was no point in saying so unless I could say that I'd physically gone in there and checked.
You'll be happy (or unhappy?) to hear that all was normal. Sean hasn't visited the forum recently, so was unaware that he was supposed to be..arrested..bought out by MIB..done a runner..sacked etc. etc. etc..
All employees were present and correct. Including the Frenchman

Wow, considering 99% of the junk that's posted in this blog is absolute garbage asking for facts should make this place a ghost town.
Great news that Crank found Steorn still alive and kicking like a "mule"! :o)
looks like they have a new toy to "pump" investors:
Pump Investors
Hmmmm... Looks like the donkey is sort of obscene there...
At least in my land of Colorado, "our" mules "produce something"!
Mule Gives Birth
I hope to "pump" Steorn for a lot more now that they still seem to be asking for it >:o))
Vardan1899
Still, whoever the anonymous poster was, he did achieve the objective of getting someone to go over to Steorn and see if they were still there.
Not that I think it very likely they would have all done a moonlight flit without us hearing about it.
"Almost" has been banned from posting for revealing what he knew about the Nodding Donkey. It happened in the British night so I presume it would have been Magnetrix that carried out the execution. Crank seems rather more tolerant - else she was watching TV at the time.
A thread following on from the Nodding Donkey video info. was started. Some of the comments were copied before the thread was deleted, and they have been put here. Comments include:
"Just to clarify. Are you saying the SPDC was shown a video, posted by
Sean/Steorn, that many believed was Orbo powered? What led them to
that conclusion? Did Sean/Steorn intimate that is was Orbo powered?
almost:They naturally assumed it was Orbo powered cos it was a
prototype of the 100,000 toys that are going to be sold. Only another
donkey is going to buy a donkey that is not Orbo powered. McCarthy
should have stated outright that the machine had an ordinary electric
motor and battery inside and not let his acolytes jump to the
understandable conclusion that the nodding donkey was powered by free
energy.
And when they did jump to the wrong conclusion he should have
corrected their mistake straight away and not let the situation
fester."
oh "crank" Miss Steorn plant of the year declares Steorn is "open". Check her ip address it will be coming from Sean's yacht in the Caribbean. Man you people are EASY marks! LMAO!!
So let me get this straight.
Sean showed a video of the 100,000 unit validation product to the Spudders.
They must have peed themselves with delight that their elite little cult was honoured by the great Sean himself, and were shown something that the unwashed rabble did not see.
Someone questioned whether the product was OU Orbo powered, and was criticized by the 'open-minded' believers for doubting their heroic icon, Sean.
Sean, self-deluded or not, admitted that the nodding donkey product had a battery and was not OU.
The elite cult SPUD club was again betrayed when this travesty was posted on the public Steorn forums.
The moderators did their duty by sanitizing and banning.
It shows that there is still a lot of entertainment left in the Steorn fraud.
There was a time when I had respect for Crank and Magnatrix and their moderation. Indeed, Mags and I exchanged friendly messages occasionally.
This has now completely changed. Both actively facilitate and enable the Steorn fraud. Both are scum, that I have zero respect for. They are an active part of the ongoing scam to defraud people. I regret that I was ever friendly with either of them.
Sean, self-deluded or not, admitted that the nodding donkey product had a battery and was not OU.
That's not quite right. McCarthy admitted that it didn't have an Orbo inside - but since the Donkey was nodding away merrily it must have had something inside.
I suspect it was a scale-electrix motor and battery and that SM made a 550bhp Freudian slip when he said the Orbo in the validation toy would be the size of a scale-electrix motor.
It looks as if scammers copy each others' scripts! You will recall how much Steorn followed Tilley-- I have no idea if they were doing it knowingly or incidentally.
Well now, "SuperMag", another free energy con game, writes in Marketwire (a pump and dump paper liner suitable for kitty litter boxes):
"The SuperMag 10Kw commercial production unit is nearing completion. Ironically the company has been approached by oil companies looking for stand alone power technology for their millions of pump jacks. The rising cost of providing electrical power to the location of the wells, as well as the electrical energy required to maintain the well operating, is making them look towards the SuperMag. This is another huge market for the SuperMag."
Here (click).
What is hilarious about Steorn's and Supermag's focus on these "pumpjacks" is that many don't use electricity at all! According to the wiki on these machines,
"A pumpjack is commonly powered by an electric motor, but older, less producing wells use propane as an alternative to the high price of installing a large power grid. Some of these wells can even use the natural gas from the casing as fuel, and the well can be completely self sufficient."
@hillary
"Wow, considering 99% of the junk that's posted in this blog is absolute garbage asking for facts should make this place a ghost town."
If that's true, the Steorn forum looks like the surface of the moon. Think again, Ms. Gullible.
Interesting thread at Steorn forum.
Mark Goldes of Magnetic Power (another stock/investor looting scheme) debates "FPG" and others. And it appears "factuurexpress" (Gaby?), a rabid believer and general weirdo, is molesting Mark with emails. Too funny.
This is entertaining stuff during work breaks except it tends to make me spill coffee.
Thicket:
Although your attitude sucks, you are pretty much dead on with your speculation on the series of events in the SPDC, only Sean didn't even let people know that it wasn't orbo powered for weeks. So far we haven't seen ANYTHING in terms of evidence whatsoever.
These guys are really coming off as the biggest shiesters right now.
I agree with Thicket. I used to believe Crank & Magnatrix were over zealous moderators. Now I feel they are part of the fraud.
Typical BS of comments here. Shaun fessed up on page two of the thread in the SPDC. It was about sixteen minutes after the video was posted.
"Mags & Cranky" are just doing their jobs as usual, the SPDC was told that steonky was not allowed to be posted on the forum.
given the nature of Shaun's Dobbermans, I doubt they care if anyone here respects them.

It has been almost one month since the non-happening of the Steorn public demo of an Orbo powered OU device at the Kinetica museum in London.
My conclusion after that demo was that the core Steorn team suffered from a serious case of self delusion (and I was not the only one to come to that conclusion). This conclusion was based upon public expressions of Steorn in general and Sean specifically, together with public financial information. The reality check of that humiliating failure in London should have woken up the share-holders, the (non-executive) management and the employees at Steorn. In fact, I did expect the company to disintegrate within a few days after the failure.
It seems that such thing did not happen.
Until the last few days I still had some naïve believe in Steorn as a group of ‘good guys’ that in all ignorance really thought to have discovered some special technology. Together with some dot-com experience in playing the media and some old friends that knew how to professionally raise investment money they were going to build an extremely valuable brand name. The fact that the technology just doesn’t work, which by now should be obvious to all involved, should have broken the magic of the delusion. It would in any normal organization result in some public announcements and the breaking up of the company. By showing a professional ending with good care for the employees, the management and investors would even rebuild some public credits (instead of just losing face for being the fool of the year).
But this is not happening.
In my opinion the only reason for the continued existence of Steorn has to be a very good and very convincing ‘story’ from the two directors towards the share-holders and the employees. And it has to be a much better story then the outside world (including the spud-buddies) was told, because that story was crap. Somewhere last month the Steorn company activities transformed in my opinion from delusional ignorance towards professional scam.
They did a remarkable job in creating a company that from all sides looked like the real thing. Their financial, market and legal strategy (like focusing on a branding and IP, not on technology) were exactly the ones to follow when to make the most possible profit of the fictional technology while being such a small company. The expensive and professional partners for the financial and marketing consult also helped in painting a very believable picture. The internet activities should be seen in relation with modern marketing methods and the creation and building of brand-names.
It must have been planned like this from the start in 2004. First they had to convince an ‘inner circle’ like the other early share-holders of Steorn of the technology. Then in the first funding round (that brought only 500k) the early investors were to be convinced. These funds were used to hire more professionals (and create some demo materials) to convince the next (more serious) funding rounds. After that they had to build up a physical company and a whole team of employees were to be doing useful work without knowing in detail about the technology itself. Meanwhile they also had to make sure enough financial resources were allocated towards themselves in a legally correct manner.
They always knew exactly which lines not to cross to be able to win any possible legal action against them. They never showed a working device, because it would proof they faked OU. They never made hard claims that could be used in court. Sometimes they (or should I say Sean) made some stupid statement, but these errors have always been taken care of in later explanations. They acted as slippery as eels in a bowl of snot, never to lose the opportunity of being able to play the ignorance card.
From this scenario I predict two things:
1) Steorn will survive until the end of 2007
2) Steorn will never show a running Orbo powered device (and certainly not a faked one!)

Aside from what you wrote being a gutter remark directed against two women, there isn't the slightest evidence that they have any connection to Steorn except as forum members like everyone else, who volunteered to moderate the forum.
The reason the thread was deleted was obviously because it violated the nda of the spud club.
Thicket is correct concerning Crank and Magnatrix. I must say, however, that we knew this long ago. If there was ever any doubt, it must have been dispelled by Crank's actions following the hilarious failure of the Steorn NO ENERGY device. Crank was right there afterwards to obfuscate, castigate, accuse, and ban. She is either part and parcel of the Steorn fraud or a rabid believer of the likes of Gaby, E8, or 007. In either case, for her to claim she is a "neutral" moderator is simply a LIE and a fraud in itself.
I think you misunderstand Crank and Magnatrix. They are volunteers who feel compelled to do a certain task, and along with that is a lot of wishful thinking.
Wishing for things can get in the way of logical or critical thinking. Their perspective is a lot different from yours.
I suspect that if we could all meet in person, a lot of misunderstanding could be cleared up. I also suspect it would be pretty easy to show them how impossible Steorn's claims are, and why it is ok for entertainment, but not for serious consideration.
Patience, persistence, truth,
Dr. mike
I really don't think the Steorn moderators are the issue. I don't think anybody posting in the forum is the issue. I don't think the forum itself is the issue. I think the issue is Steorn and the game they are playing for it is truly a game. Nothing they have done or shown has anything to do with science but rather marketing. Whatever allusions they have cast in a scientific light are not adding up to the claim they have made.
I do not see them suddenly reversing course but continuing the game for whatever reasons they have had all along for as long as they can. If you look at others in this so called OU field many have lasted a long time and produced nothing approaching the claims they have made.
Remember, Steorn was in the fraud detection business and the Intellectual Property business as well Internet. All three expertises have enabled them to pull this off.
But having a real, working Orbo? Show me, I'm from Missouri.
Crank and Magnatrix are volunteers with no direct financial ties with Steorn. So what?
My comments were based on unethical behavior. Both knowingly and willingly remove information from the public forum that expose elements of the Steorn swindle.
Hiding behind the NDA is a pathetic excuse. NDAs are for protecting technology. Steorn doesn't have any. The deleted information verifies that Steorn has nothing. The NDA is part of the swindle.
It's not relevant that these two moderators are usually 'nice'. Lots of 'nice' people are unethical. Sean is 'nice'. He's also a fraud and a conman.
For most Steorn-watchers, this hoax is entertainment. However, at least 14 million Euros of investor money have been taken for a fraudulent business. There could be more being scammed from investors right now. Anyone that directly eases the continued scamming of money is scum that I cannot respect. This includes hiding incriminating evidence.

I think you said you explained what was wrong with their idea to Sean and his entourage when you were in London, but that they turned a deaf ear to you. If Sean is as insane as you think (seeing non-working orbos working, talking to non-existent jurors [ok, they do exist, or some of them exist; but maybe he talked to ones that don't exist]), I can imagine how he would refuse to understand you; and I suppose his employees are brainwashed or in fear for their jobs and wouldn't listen either.
You must be the only person who knows what the mistake is (well, maybe some of the Steorn employees know, but are afraid or unwilling to face up to it). I wouldn't be surprised if you are contacted by one or more of the investors.
In fact, if you play it right you might cash in and get a short but lucrative consulting gig with them.

I've been banned often enough and I'm not complaining. As for Crank being involved in some kind of fraud I find that idea ludicrous. She is a professional sculptor with a grant from the Irish Government. She has far too much to lose in terms of reputation etc. to take such risks. I sure if she found out Steorn were up to no good she would drop moderating at once.
As for Maggie, she's out in the boondocks and it seems to me she is just a feminist who's probably has always been a bit downtrodden and for whom the exercise of arbitrary power gives her a buzz.

You are adding delusion to your gutter manners.
The information that they removed was that the validation toy was a nodding donkey and that what was shown to the spdc was not powered by an orbo. And you call that 'information..that expose[s] elements of the Steorn swindle'?
?The information that they removed was that the validation toy was a nodding donkey and that what was shown to the spdc was not powered by an orbo.
So, that's not true?
Where does Dr Bari fit in all this?
And where, for that matter does the Dutch engineer (the spitting image of the CEO of Kinetron) who obviously deluded himself with the Kinetica toy.
Clearly, neither of those two would knowingly get involved in a scam.
Check this out!
It's OTC but suggests some of the people who post on Steorn's forum are missing more than a few bricks from their chimney. This one is about "telekinesis". Uhhun.

Well, at least it's more interesting that threads like count to a million. etc.
Fact is, with no input from Steorn and anything interesting leading to a banning, the Forum has run out of relevant things to talk about.
CouldBe said
"The information that they removed was that the validation toy was a nodding donkey and that what was shown to the spdc was not powered by an orbo. And you call that 'information..that expose[s] elements of the Steorn swindle'?"
Precisely!
Earlier this year I posted a thread asking believers what it would take for them to stop believing. One of the choices was a validation product that was clearly not a free-energy device.
Just about everyone (except 007) said that this would stop them believing. The list included Magnatrix.
Too bad the thread is gone. Fancy that. Get rid of the evidence and commitments. It's embarrassing to the believers.
The validation product is not over-unity, not free-energy, not Orbo. I'd say that was pretty significant validation that Steorn is a swindle.
Believers, like yourself, keep changing the goalposts after every Steorn disappointment. This allows you to justify keeping your beliefs. Some of you have certainly talked yourselves into minimizing the fact that the validation product is a mere toy following known physics.
Alright...I tend to fart in Steorn's general direction these days, but...
Sean posted a bloody cell phone cam video of the future donkey toy as a joke and 99.9% of everyone knew that it was not powered by Orbo. A few folks asked the question just to be sure and had confirmation in minutes. Only a few part time posters who missed the joke that day came in a week later like, "duh, what donkey? what are you talking about? is there an Orbo in there?" and nobody answered them because it was such a dumb question.
Next, magnatrix and crank have no association with Steorn. magnatrix is a sweetheart if you are nice to her and the majority of folks who got banned deserved it for being overtly nasty and not being merely skeptical but trying to get folks whipped up into a frenzy of crying scam. very few banned were victims of PMS or overzealousness ... like one or two.
unfortuantely, the real shame is that not everyone who deserved it got banned!!!
and a few major jerks were allowed to carry on the nasty confrontational tone whipping up a generally ugly atmosphere in the public forum long after their rival was gone.
and are still allowed to spew loud mouthed insanity encouraging other idiots to join the bandwagon of believers being mad (mad believers being loud?)while contributing absolutely nothing to the SPDC
"I KNOW YOU ARE BUT WHAT AM I?!"
f*ck's sake. and Steorn allow it to go on unchecked after PROMISING that the SPDC would be HEAVILY moderated to eliminate that sort of noise from folks who do nothing but cause trouble.
another broken promise
so that is the donkey story.
perhaps you adults can think of something more creative and intelligent to do than bash an old lady (sorry crank) and a mother of three who are merely trying to engage with the small group of folks who have been friends since the beginning of this debacle. It is a social activity in between washing the kids and doing chores.
big man you are. mug any children lately?
thicket you need your head examined.
the donkey was never released as a validation product.
it was never claimed to be powered by an orbo
it was understood from jumpstreet to NOT be powered by orbo
it was something anything to show folks who were neverending pestering sean to show us the toy.
@ Thicket
you are just full of BS. The thread you are on about is still there.
I think you have a problem with logic.
you said: "One of the choices was a validation product that was clearly not a free-energy device."
How can you have a validation product that is not a validation?
Sean posted a bloody cell phone cam video of the future donkey toy as a joke and 99.9% of everyone knew that it was not powered by Orbo.
==================================
That is simply untrue. Most people assumed not unnaturally that it was the validation toy they were being shown and that it must have the Orbo inside. Only one person queried whether or not this was the case and he was rounded upon and howled down by true believers. If that person had not spoken up I'm sure McCarthy would have left the SPUD in their ignorance.
He's not stupid. He should have said right from the outset that the model was powered at this point by a scale-electrix motor since it was obvious that the SPUDs would assume it was powered by an Orbo.
It was clear that Sean was dissimulating just as he did over the 550bhp engine, and you Mr Anonymous are assisting him with his deception by misrepresenting the real story of the validation toy.
If it turns out, as some here think, that Steorn are defrauding their investors then you will have been an accessory, albeit unwitting, to that fraud.
Since we don't have access to the archives of the SPUD and since Forum archives are manipulated in any case, readers of this blog will have to make up their own minds as to the truth of this matter.

================================
That is not true.
There at two threads. The fist is General: Fitting the facts. in which the subject of the Donkey came up. That indeed, is still there.
And there is the second thread which blueletter started as shown by this comment in the first thread:

Comment Author blueletter
@riterX and buggyirk
Just an FYI, I've started a new discussion specifically for this topic if you interested
================================
In which the subject was explored at greater length.
That thread was removed.
I believe someone caught most of it and published it on this blog. If you do a key word search with the version published on this blog you will find that thread has been deleted from the main Forum.
How many children did Sean mug in scamming 14 million Euros? How many education and retirement funds have been wiped out? Who made the BS claims that they were providing free-energy pumps to the poor in Africa? Steorn is a fraud, scam and swindle. Anyone who actively and willingly covers up that swindle is to be reviled.
If the 'nodding donkey' validation product farce was so trivial, why was it removed from the public forums? To hide the farce, of course.
So some folks can moan on about elderly matrons, kids being washed and friendly chores being done. Just keep ignoring the fact that millions have been fraudulently scammed from people and truly caused hurt.

You rightly draw attention to the fact that investors are not all wealthy plutocrats who have invested in Steorn with their eyes open and will put down any financial loss to experience.
I hope any members of Steorn who now realise that the firm's claims are empty will have enough pangs of conscience to cease co-operating and take such knowledge to the proper authorities.
Passive co-operation with a conspiracy to defraud investors may not lead them to a prison sentence but it is certainly morally reprehensible.
I would hope that in Catholic Ireland at least one Steorn employee who knows the truth has sufficient moral courage to blow the whistle and ensure that no more investors money is fruitlessly squandered.
I would think that a true scientist who is sitting on a world breaking discovery that flies in the face of traditional science would go out of their way not to show any signs if impropriety or start playing practical jokes with those who are trying to discern what it is they have.
It is like a child's game, "hey look over here (550 BHP). Ha ha, made you look." "Oh no, it's over here (Validation Toy), Ha ha, made you look again."
How long can you do that before people tire of the game and think you are a complete idiot? But that is understandable. What is not understandable are the people who keep looking expecting something real every time and never once get suspicious.
>"I would hope that in Catholic Ireland at least one Steorn employee who knows the truth has sufficient moral courage to blow the whistle and ensure that no more investors money is fruitlessly squandered."
Greed trumps all religion.
One of the snags may be that Sean could be posting on the forum when he is a bit “tired and emotional”.
Some of the over exaggerated claims could easily be explained if this were the case.
>I would hope that in Catholic Ireland at least one Steorn employee who knows the truth has sufficient moral courage to blow the whistle and ensure that no more investors money is fruitlessly squandered.
What a difference a year makes huh Frank?
Here is what you wrote August 26 2006 on the Steorn forum:
"Anyone who thinks this is a fraud or hoax is suffering from cognitive dissonance."
Now considering I thought it was a fraud or a hoax since day one I find your shift interesting.
i was wondering if people here know that some(at least one anyway) of the investors who are listed as an individual person are actually just the named investor for large groups of people.(The amount in question is well over 2 million euros)
i did not find this out through the forums etc. but from a person in the know in the "real world".
anyway i was just wondering is this standard practice?
seems a bit sinister to me, that they're taking tens of thousands off private individuals who probably cannot afford to lose it..
>One of the snags may be that Sean could be posting on the forum when he is a bit “tired and emotional”.
Oh that's professional. First of all he should not post at all if it runs the risk of him saying stupid shit. That is called a "loose cannon."
>Oh that's professional. First of all he should not post at all if it runs the risk of him saying stupid shit. That is called a "loose cannon."
That’s the problem, no company boss in his right mind is going to come out with such obvious rubbish. Being a bit Brahms and Liszt would explain the errors, and the reluctance to own up to the cause.
It is most unfortunate that the gullible lap up every word.
The forum is or was considered as a bit of after work hours fun for Sean, his stage possibly. Look at when the forum started it was a “bear garden”. I fine public face for a company, Not!
There is even totally unconnected to Steorn, a failed peddler of free energy dreams apparently openly touting for business on the forum.
Is anyone following the Steorn forum thread about Magnetic Power Inc.?
I've looked at some of Mark Golde's web sites and nowhere does it seem to me to clearly say they have achieved overunity or production of electrical power without known energy input.
Could someone please ask him over there (I'm banned on Steorn forums or I'd do it):
1. Do you have an actual physical *working* device which runs for long periods which produces electricity without power input of any sort (or one which clearly makes more power than you put in)?
2. Can you produce a single credible individual who has seen it, tested it in a proper and credible manner, and verifies your claims?
3. If not, exactly why not? Because it would win an instant Nobel Prize, the JREF's million dollar prize, and revolutionize physices on the spot. And it need not be small, well engineered, perfected, marketable or efficient to do that. Why would anyone withold such a device from public view if it exists?
I've read Lee F.'s stuff and it makes no such claims. If nobody who is credible and can report has seen their product except themselves... well... guess what the obvious conclusion is?
Is anyone willing to ask exactly those questions to Goldes over at Steorn forum? So far it seems, the discussion is being directed (or shall I say misdirected) whichever way Goldes want it. With due respect to the extremely competent answers/responses he's received, I think the questions could be more direct and specific.
Thanks.
Maryyugo, no offense but that is a fool's errand. Like asking an apparition if it is real.
You gotta love ingenuity:
Perpetual motion from kitchen junk.
Anyone want to post that at Steorn? At the moment, it seems more viable than Orbo.

Interesting indeed. But as you will know if you have been following the complete Steorn saga, I have been many sides of the fence since then. I have explored every avenue to the banning limit - ARG, scam, Czech Dream (I rather fancied that one 8-) - in fact I sent McCarthy the DVD I got from Amazon).
I even managed to pin Shaun against the wall with his big engine and take all the shit which was dropped on me from a great height from Pastor Grant and the true believers. Can you claim as much, Mr Anonymous.
The fact is that most disbelievers, disbelieve cos they think that what Steorn claim is impossible. I don't - for scientific reasons which have nothing whatever to do with Steorn. Therefore I was always hoping that their claims would stand up to scrutiny by a devil's advocate. Since they have managed to shoot themselves in both feet at Kinetica with both the toy and the aborted demo, it would seem that a devil's advocate job is now rather superfluous.
However, there are still many mysteries to be solved. What the hell did they hope to do with the documentary? How did they manage to convince Dr Bari to leave a University post and set up a full time consulting company working for Steorn. What has happened to the Jury? How is the CEO of Kinetron involved. Was the nodding donkey a one off they picked up in a junk shop or do they really have 10,000 of them on order?
If you know the answers to these questions, or even have any opinions, I would be interested to hear them.
Or is it that you are incapable of making other than nonconstructive contributions to this debate, Mr Anonymous.
Interesting comments regarding Crank/Mag, the stupid donkey trick, and investor groups; here is my take:
Crank/Mag: I don't care if they are representatives of the late Mother Theresa herself. The fact remains that they consistently exhibit a blatant bias towards all things Steorn. This bias is so powerful that they remove many threads that reflect badly upon Steorn, castigate skeptics, and ban without thought. Evidence of their incredible bias can be found in the fact that they do not go after after the likes of Gaby, E8, 007, and other rabid believers who are often times the most insulting and wacked-out persons in the forum. Furthermore, both acted in Steorn's interest after the failed demo; deleting threads, banning dissenting voices, and generally obfuscating. This cannot be denied. It was as if they were there to manage damage control. Given the weight and totality of their actions, there is a strong, strong implication that they are vested, whether emotionally or financially, in the success of whatever Steorn is doing. This is all despite their repeated claims that they are both "neutral". For these reasons, Thicket is right on the mark to question their ethics.
The Stupid Donkey: How can anyone defend Steorn on this one? The believers were fervent in their claims that this was powered by a silly Orbo device. A member who questioned this was castigated and ridiculed to the high heavens. What irony that Sean should later come out several weeks after the incident and admit it was not an Orbo. Furthermore, to claim this was a "joke" defies common sense; anyone seeing the thing there would naturally assume it to be an example of "Orbo in action" and cannot be blamed for making that assumption; that is, after all, the only reason those idiots are in the SPUD. What else is a joke here then? Was the demo a joke? How about Steorn themselves, are they a joke? I guess at the end of this, Sean will just come out and say, "sorry, just kidding, orbo was a joke and the joke's on you."
Investment: So now it is coming out that there are nominee investment groups who pitched cash into Steorn? WOW! That is an incredible revelation of which I was not aware in the past. I thought all the money was coming from a select few wealthy investors. If there are nominee groups out there who are investing money obtained from the general public, Steorn has a serious, serious problem. In the US, this would subject Steorn and the nominee investment vehicles to potential serious criminal and civil sanctions for violations of the 33 Act. I don't know Irish law, but I can't imagine that Ireland would lack laws to protect the general public against fraudulent investment schemes. If Steorn's Orbo turns out to be nothing more than smoke and mirrors, they could have a real problem on their hands. I would even go so far as to say that both the SPUD and the forum represent agencies of Steorn. To such an extent, information found in either of those forums that would influence a reasonable investor would be attributable to Steorn. Any moderators who acted on Steorn's behalf in deleting or hiding potentially material, negative information could be considered also agents of Steorn and themselves subject to the same penalties. Again, I am not aware of Irish law, but this would be a likely scenario in the US.
Frank can't make up his mind whether he believes or not - then he flips out all of a sudden.
Does this sound like someone you can trust?
>Or is it that you are incapable of making other than nonconstructive contributions to this debate, Mr Anonymous.
All of those questions you ask are irrelevant so there is nothing to debate. If Steorn had the goods then debate and inquiring might illuminate the significance of it all. As it stands they do not have the goods so further illumination is really a job for the proper authorities at this point.
My only question which probably will never be answered is "what the hell do they think they are doing?"
Also, your questions remind me of the numerous discussion groups on the net parsing over what the meaning of various aspects of the TV show Lost might be. Perhaps interesting, but a far cry from OU and science.
Dean Kamen of the Segway invention knew how to get buzz going on his product in advance of its release but he was also savvy enough to know how long to keep the public hanging before unveiling his device. Plus, he really had the goods to show albeit not as earth shattering as free energy. When the product was eventually released all of the prior speculation surrounding it vanished like the morning dew.
Steorn is nothing but a game being played with broken toys.
I'm surprised no one's yet commented on the "donkey/ass of themselves" connection.
However, in coincidence, this comment page so far has 14 other words containing the word "ass"... interesting!

Like I said, I fart in Steorn's general direction.
However, being that you are not an SPDC member and were not hteere, you have no idea what the f*ck you are talking about.
And relying on the unstable personality of Frank Grminer for information would pretty much define your level of intelligence.
That said ...
For the last time... in response to endless pestering from idiots like E8 and ))&, 'Sean posted a video fo the "VALIDATION" toy/product PROTOTYPE that would SOMEDAY have an Orbo inside after VALIDATION DAY.
Only a retard or someone who can't read English or is a LIAR would have ever thought it contained an Orbo or claim otherwise now.
Sean made it perfectly clear within FIVE MINUTES that the toy did NOT have an Orbo and that he was fulfilling the request of a rabid believer to PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SHOW ME OR I'LL JUST DIE endless requests for something anything.
The thing is I WAS THERE... DOH.
And I think Steorn are bullshit artists and liars. But the donkey was not ever presented as having an Orbo and only a freaking idiot would ever have thought otherwise.
Grimer is a bald faced liar if he claims otherwise. He is bi-polar and psychotic ... but he is not stupid.
The list of Steorn ridiculousness and lies is long enough without having to make up bullshit stories about the donkeys.
And the forum belongs to Steorn ..of course the moderators lean that way. DOH.
What ... you think they would be rabid cynics?
double doh
this place is filled with as many morons as the forum
and here i am posting about a freeenergy company in my free time
i could be having sex
i must be freaking insane
"cum mula peperit"
The Orbo mule seems to run off the same energy as the orbo... Batteries and a motor...
Like, take an evolutionary step and just figure it out ;-)

ZPE, you have obviously struck a nerve with Steorn so post the video. Legal issues? On what basis? I think she means legal issues for Steorn not you. How can releasing a video that does not violate any laws be illegal? Are you under NDA?
to the poster who is claiming that Sean revealed the lack of orbo within "5 minutes":
would you mind posting the date when Sean revealed this?
An mpeg version of the video is available here. This was created by converting the .flv download from YouTube.
