Randi and More Video

As maryyugo has pointed out here, Free Energy Tracker made it into James Randi's latest news letter. Also note, ENERGY IS NOT YET FREE! has posted a couple follow up videos of Sean talking at Kinetica. Unfortunately I could not make out what he was saying, if someone finds anything interesting in these videos, feel free to post them here!

I Umm.. Spent most of today... Um.. At the attorney's, umm. For a totally unrelated matter um... Today...
I was just not able to "withstand" all this BS here today um...
My lawman has busted "for real" ribs from a 4H cow that reamed him for his girl's 4H project... And that really IS freaking true!! Paid 200 bucks an hour to hear about it (worth it ;-))! But he forgot to charge me last meeting, so I guess it all works out ;-))

So umm... Steorn is just so totally screwed um...

So I have zero sympathy for those criminal "f****" at steorn over all this right now...

I was thinking of doing a video of the fake orbo going under water and such just to show how stupidly simple it is to fake all this crap for 15 bucks... Me dancing around the room with it like a basketball.... But this is all getting really stupid now...

If you still believe in Steorn, you are among the 0.01% of the totally lost dumb fools out there...

I think it is safe to say that the skeptics are sick of Sean's techo babble and believers just can't get enough.

As I said once before if OU could be achieved by talking we would be swimming in free energy.

Hey, it's been 3 weeks!

Did the guy get back from the bearing manufacturer with replacement parts yet?

I guess they're back-ordered. Man, ain't it a bitch how we're so dependent on our suppliers?

Sometimes the world just has to wait.

why do people keep saying same things over months? that looks retarded

I have to agree with Vardan the Destroyer.

You do mean Sean don't you?

The fact that audio is not clear just makes it hard to hear. If it was clear then it would just be hard to believe.

We need someone to translate from Irish to English. At least that's theoretically possible. Unfortunately nobody can translate from Seanspeak to reality.

The one-year anniversary of The Economist ad is coming up, maybe then the whole project will be revealed as a docudrama film.

Everyone, I have an update and bad news sorry. Sean has spent the last 3 weeks in phone support hell over these god forsaken bearings. We thought progress was being made but unfortunately the bearings required are g2k-4b bearings which are extremely rare and in high demand. We have tried everything to get a supply, even ebay of all places. I watched Adam in desperation destroy a 1972 $28,000 Gold Rolex just to get it's g2k-4c bearings out (the 4c's might have worked) and in the end all was destroyed. Adam left horrified and literally in tears (he took 3 days leave because he spent 30hrs straight trying to get the bearings out), a serious blow to the team's morale to say the least. We have had no choice but to cower to the waiting list of Gialani & Sons Bearings Co. and we are now looking at an 18 month wait time for the bearings! Thanks to this the demo is not on until early 2009. It's ok though because we will prevail in the end. Chin up mates, we have 6 working Orbos in testing and all is well, the demo unit will just have to wait though. The acrylic rig is the only thing that will be convincing enough for public validation. Oh, also Sean has ordered some g2d-6m bearings for a new demo rig that lifts weight for free (20 month wait though). Exciting times! Hang in there. Also on the good news front we are now offering Stage1 investment shares. 1,000 shares available for $5,000per share. Get in now.

Horrible news about the bearings, that totally sucks the big one. I look forward to Steorn getting the bearings and moving forward, great effort! Also, I have contacted you guys, I have scraped together some funds (I know not much) and would like 2 shares! :) What a way to be part of history. I will order my new yacht after the next demo. Steorn4Eva! :) :) :)

Anonymous said...

I'll take 1,000 shares. Where do I send my money?

Hey, I got a plan! (this is so easy I can't believe Steorn didn't think of it):

1. take one of the working orbos you have going in the lab over to Jim Randi.

2. show it to him.

3. Collect Randi's $1 million and take it over to Gialani & Sons Bearings Co. Either use it as a premium on the bearings price to get them now, or bribe one of their employees to sell you a batch out in the back parking lot.

4. Dash back to Kinetica and get that demo sucker up and running (hurry, before the prepaid web cam time expires).

5. then (and only then) announce the demo.

(Of course, you may need to put still photos of the current web-cam scenes in front of the cameras for the moment. Otherwise, those hundreds of cultists over at the Steorn forum who stare all day at the camera feeds will spot the activity and ruin the surprise.)

Orbo for sale!
Get it here

I found a REAL Orbo. And it's only $8.76!

"1. take one of the working orbos you have going in the lab over to Jim Randi. 2. show it to him. 3. Collect Randi's $1 million."

Kidding aside, it's almost that easy if someone really has a little plastic device like the one Sean was carrying around in the recent photo and if it runs without any external power. All that would be needed would be to run it a week, let Dr. Mike or someone like him take it apart while the tv cameras were running and Sean and company would be on their way to fame and immense fortune.

Like I keep repeating -- and this is the part that the believers don't get which makes me completely crazy: IT'S NOT DIFFICULT TO TEST "FREE ENERGY" when the claim is that enough is made to run some real life device people can see and touch!

It's only difficult to measure energy production in devices like cold fusion which make tiny, if any, amounts of energy. It's also a bit harder to test huge gargantuan stuff like Newman's goofy kludges or other elaborate hoaxes like the ones in Hungary that occupy most of a building and that huge go-round-and-round spring machine someone has to start with a crank (!). No not that crank!

BTW, saying the above politely and calmly on the Steorn forum is what got Magnatrix to ban me, thinking I was Penney's/pennies... bah... believers!

Anonymous said...

Here is some news I have not seen released yet. Steorn is no more. We have spent the last week cruising out to the building and it's empty, not even a Steorn sign on the front anymore. Someone explain that..

Anonymous said...

Ah, the servers are still running.

Anonymous said...

Who's "we"? And why did you take one week to go there?
If you really spent one week for this, did you do the first thing any sane person would do and try to call them on the phone to see if they're there?
Right. Makes no sense.

LOL.

Mary,

What is so bizarre is how brainwashed the believers are over there. Those people are like "moonies". (Or, indeed, any religious person challenged with rational arguments against their faith.) The company can do no wrong.

If Steorn really intended to display the device at that time (and they have never claimed otherwise), and if they continue to insist that they have working orbos in their labs (485%!), then there is absolutely no reason not to show what they have now.

As you (and many others) have stated, it ain't difficult if you have even a 135% OU device (let alone a 485% one).

Instead of concern by the cultists that "hey, maybe they don't have the goods", there are expressions of sympathy for how unfortunate they were that the lights/ bearings/ plastic "ruined" their nicely planned public debut, and admiration for what a standup guy Sean must be for accepting total responsibility for the snafu and how gracious he was in apologizing.

Nobody seems to notice (except for every single one of those annoying whiny skeptics) that he didn't take the next step when something goes awry, FIX IT! ASAP! Goto plan B! Do the next best thing! Deliver what you promised!

The fact that they have not done so speaks volumes. As others have pointed out, it's following the script of the deluded, hoaxster, or fraudster versions from the past. There is no rational reason why they won't show it, which strongly suggests that they can't show it.

IMO, we won't see a demo ever (not even another aborted one), but the company will string their cult members along for as long as the investor money holds out. There will be long periods of silence, punctuated with brief vague announcements of plans and strategies that will be more theatrical then substantive.

Then (after a very long time), it will eventually end, with a whimper. And the cultists will be there all the way to the bitter end. They'll try to log in one day, and either won't be able to, or they will see the discussions boards disabled and a short sorry note from the company thanking them for their support and best wishes for their future.

And then they will be gone.

Some evidence would be nice before we jump to "explain that." How about some video or stills that show the deserted building?

Mary Yugo do you have a public email address people can reach you?

Brainwashed doesn't even begin to describe the poor sycophants still hanging on for dear life. It is like a bad version of the matrix ... "they are so inurred, so dependent on the delusion that they will fight to protect it".

It would be funny if it wasn't so tragically sad.

Sure, it's sean@steorn.com

"Mary Yugo do you have a public email address people can reach you?"

Why do you need her address? Why don't you send any "evidence" you have of Steorn's so-called departure direct to the guy who runs this blog?

Running Bare/Rbare demonstrates how easy it can be to make a perpetual motion motor if you start with the right ingredients and attitude. To be fair, I bet he spent a lot of spare time on this interesting project.

In this Youtube video.

Subtract a bushel or so of scruples and get rich too!

Hey RB, you should use a plastic table or pedestal so people can see there are no wires off to the left and below (I'm sure there aren't any). Very nice job!

Anonymous said...

Hi,

RBear's demo is almost as funny as my fan cooling demo. You can hear the rotating magnet under the table grinding away just like my cooling fan :o) It sound's just like the old magnetic stirrer I threw away a few months ago.

Someone should wander over to Steorn and see if they left a forwarding address :o)

Since no one has heard from Steorn in two weeks, maybe they took my advice and finally ran away with he cash... We'll have to wait until the money runs out now till they reappear...

"From: crank
CommentTime: 52 minutes ago

Given the claims on Steorntracker, which were repeated in this forum, I went into Steorn this morning. I knew it wasn't true, but equally knew there was no point in saying so unless I could say that I'd physically gone in there and checked.

You'll be happy (or unhappy?) to hear that all was normal. Sean hasn't visited the forum recently, so was unaware that he was supposed to be..arrested..bought out by MIB..done a runner..sacked etc. etc. etc..

All employees were present and correct. Including the Frenchman."

Interesting. Of course, no answers to questions like "what are they doing?" "when is the next demo?" "where's the mysterious 'Orbo'? And so on...

Link to that Steorn forum thread here.

Heh! I wonder what Cranky means by "normal"? Does it men "nothing produced except words and promotional videos"? as usual?

Hi,

this is what a former SPDC member has just posted on the other forum:

I would like McCarthy to explain why, in view of the horrible letdown of people who travelled thousands of miles to see an Orbo demonstration, he hasn't posted a video of the machine. He can at least post it privately to his loyal supporters in the SPUD - supporters who vociferously castigated a member who queried whether the Nodding Donkey prototype had Orbo inside, and were made to look foolish by their trust when after a considerable delay Shaun revealed that it didn't. Another 550bhp example, albeit not so egregious since the delay in Shaun's confession was less than the 6 weeks of the big engine.
....

They naturally assumed it was Orbo powered cos it was a prototype of the 100,000 toys that are going to be sold. Only another donkey is going to buy a donkey that is not Orbo powered. McCarthy should have stated outright that the machine had an ordinary electric motor and battery inside and not let his acolytes jump to the understandable conclusion that the nodding donkey was powered by free energy.

And when they did jump to the wrong conclusion he should have corrected their mistake straight away and not let the situation fester.

Fun stuff :)

Here is a still of the Nodding Donkey video if anyone is interested. I posted it on Steorn but who knows, some mod' may kill it. Oh, I have the video too but I'm at a loss on how to post it.

zpe,

You could post the video to YouTube.com, or another Flash-based video sharing site. Could you give everyone some background info on the video, for those who might not have read about it on Steorn's forum?

Thanks!

I think they killed the validation toy thread over at Steorn. It was an informative thread. Can anyone reconstruct it over here?

ST:

I just wanted to spur some thought but when I posted that link in the Validation Toy thread, the thread got deleted or hidden.

All I can say is, "This is the Validation Toy video that
was shown to the SPDC by Steorn."

It apparently was another misconception that was cleared up but only after causing some grief among the spuds. I have the vid, it's in my outbox to you, the 'Validation Toy' thread at Steorn is now hidden... Hmmmm.

I really don't see the big deal about the vid but whenever a thread gets hidden and posters banned (me? not yet but...), well that just kind of throws some red flags and attracts more attention.

Maybe I'm missing something, maybe Mags or Crank can tell me.

I think I'll hang for a bit and think about it. Maybe they will un-hide the thread and we can talk about it. I'm not trying to hold anyone hostage but there is nothing to gain from hiding a thread.

Oh, while I'm writing this, I see the 'Bring The Validation Thead Back' thread that just got closed by Mags and she said, "you want to discuss that, feel free to do it on FET or Fizzx"

I don't know, let's let this thing stew for a bit.

Let's see, I'm sure I'm not the only one who has the video.

You've certainly got all of my contribution. RB asked for confirmation that the picture is that from the video provided by McCarthy. I can confirm that it is.
I can't answer him on the forum since I have now been banned from posting.
