SPDC Update From Crank

It looks like Crank got permission to publish updates on the SPDC. She has a long post over on the forums here. I've quoted the more interesting points:

People have quite a few beefs with the forum software. It's not as user-friendly as the software on this forum
...
So far we've been presented with the first module of an e-learning course - this module was visible to non-members when the website first went live, so many of you will have seen the first incarnation.
...
I've asked Sean (here on this forum) if the effect will be understandable to 'people with dirty fingernails' and he's said Yes. If all the information is provided in as clear a form as the first module, then hopefully he's right.
...
Sean has been noticeably absent for the last ten days, there appears to be a big push on to design the 'public demo' unit, and implement/improve the new incarnation of the technology.
...
There's been a deafening silence from the members who are the chief suspects for The Magnificent Seven (the first set of replicators).
And now for the most interesting part of her post:
A few days into the SPDC, we were given the name of one of the physicists involved in the original round of testing. It's intended that this physicist will join the SPDC, and do a Q & A session with the rest of the members. This physicist is still working on 'the effect', so everyone's really looking forward to speaking with him. The SPDC members are satisfied with his credentials, background, experience and area of expertise.

Some surprisingly illustrious names have appeared on the member-list, which has caused a flurry of excitement. Even the most illustrious is approachable and friendly, and (like the rest of us) looking forward to the meat course.
This was a great post from Crank. I quoted more of it than I left out. Let's hope that we all learn who some of these people are in the near future! It would be great if one of the SPDC members could independently verify the physicists involved in the original round of testing. They have their names now, why not visit the university and see if they know what Steorn says they know? That would go a very long way towards removing thoughts of scam or hoax.

"Illustrious" huh? I wonder if he's talking about some captain of industry, or some celebrity of the entertainment variety. Hopefully the former.

Ping, what was your username on Steorn's Forums? I'd like to take a look at what caused the banning.

ping, did they give you a reason when banning you, or did you just login one day banned? I didn't see anything too crazy in your posts.

They may have taken issue with the multiple accounts. Were you actively commenting with more than one account, or did you just have those accounts as backup?

New accounts are not being given posting priveleges in the regular forum.

And noone has been banned from SPDC for not signing an NDA...yet, only for stating that they would not.

@ ping, have I got this right? You posted on the Steorn forum that you thought they were running some kind of hedge-fund scam, and you're surprised you were banned? Maybe you should try going to some other company websites and accuse them of being a scam, I'm sure they'll welcome you with open arms.

You joined a club where you knew you were expected to sign an NDA, boasted that you were in without signing an NDA, and now you're complaining that you're banned from there as well?

You're a creep. Who'd want you within a hundred miles?

One of the conditions of being there is signing an NDA.
You know this.
You won`t sign
No SPDC
No problem.
Pack it in and do something useful.

There has been a lot of banning lately. You are banned if you mention any reference to the word "fraud". You may also be banned if someone else says that you have been using the word fraud.

@Ping

What username is Dr. Puthoff using in the SPDC?

There are very few nonbelievers left in the forum. 007 was able to make a list of 3, but crank made a list of 6 :

fpg hasn't been banned
nova hasn't been banned
thicket hasn't been banned
enginerd hasn't been banned
DrMike hasn't been banned
br hasn't been banned

People that should have been banned from the start :
007
factureexpress
lazy8
energyman8

Does anyone have an example of a ontopic, non-abusive,non-joking post by 007,gaby,lazy8 or energyman8 ?

Anyone care to add clues to the search for the "mystery" physicist who will do Q&A in the SPDC?

So far we have:

1)"'World Class' is being modest. His creds are impeccable and he is quite diversified in his knowledge of different areas of physics and different theoretical physics schools of thought."

2)He is currently working in Ireland, and is working on the effect.

3)Has his own consulting company (Steorn is a client)

4)Is not on the jury but was one of the early investigators that Steorn asked to review the technology.

5)Supposedly his identity is able to be found by a rigorous search but I have come up empty so far...
